Hello Friends, Happy November
everyone! To us, November is all about friends, family, and FOOD. Those
of you in the U.S. are probably gearing up for a Thanksgiving event
of some sort. We know that Thanksgiving can be tough for some vegans.
Family time is great, but sharing a table with a greasy dead bird is
not. Some of you are forced to tough it out, trying to look satisfied
with your side dish of dressing that you begged your folks to not cook
with turkey broth. Many of us get picked on the most by relatives on
this day with comments such as, "Come on! One piece isn't going
to kill you. It's Thanksgiving!" While some lucky vegans sit down
to a feast of Tofurky, lentil loaf, roasted acorn squash, vegan pumpkin
pie, cranberry dressing, and more. This month,
we challenge you to get creative! If you know there won't be anything
vegan on the Thanksgiving table, bring a dish to wow the family. Show
them that we eat more than just salads, and what we eat can be awesome
